Learning Outcome:

By the end of the day, you will understand what “Best Practice” looks like in RDA sessions, how to deliver rider centred coaching and how to meet the coaching criteria at a competent level or above. You will also understand the importance of the Equine Assessment for the welfare of our horses.

Introduction, Aims and Objectives of the Day
What is Best Practice?
What is Learner Centred Coaching?
Am I meeting the Coaching Criteria?
Observation, Evidence Taking and Feedback
This will be an interactive workshop training day. We will be in the indoor arena and a classroom. Please dress in appropriate clothing and footwear. There will be opportunities to observe sessions and record evidence of how the Coach is meeting the coaching criteria and to interact with the horses. We hope it will be thought provoking and fun!
Please bring pens, a notepad, a packed lunch and a mug.
Tea and coffee will be available
This day is open to Coaches in Training and Group Coaches. Maximum 30 places. £10
