As you know RDA have partnered with Makaton, to enable our groups free access to Makaton by purchasing a 10-year licence. As part of this agreement, we are hosting 2 online Makaton Taster sessions for the groups that have received a free Makaton Aware Award. 

This 2-hour online Taster session will demonstrate up to 30 signs and symbols for useful everyday words, along with a further 12 tailored to equine. Each session can cater for up to 19 people.  

With these skills, RDA volunteers and coaches will be better equipped to communicate with participants and visitors, enhancing the inclusivity of your interactions.  

These sessions will be led by a Makaton tutor and due to the restricted numbers, it will be 1 person per group and will be on a first come first serve bases.  

*Note: If you are unable to secure a spot in one of the closed sessions due to availability, you will be able to attend one of the open sessions.

*Note: Once you or a member of your group has attended a closed session, you will not be able to attend an open session. This is to ensure that we have availability for other groups.
