The talk will cover fundamental welfare principles and key considerations for RDA horses, followed by an open discussion on how attendees can enhance their current practices.

• Saddle Fit considerations
• Ridden behaviour as an indicator of welfare
• Horse weight & horse/rider weight ratios
• Management changes to improve quality of life
• Suppling exercises: engaging riders, students, and clients in different interactions
