Event Overview
Join us for an informative and engaging session on Getting Started with RDA Dressage. Whether you’re a coach, rider, or volunteer, this session will provide essential guidance on RDA Dressage, including competition pathways, classification, horse and tack considerations, test selection, and training strategies. Led by Sandra Edwards, an experienced BD, Para, and RDA Judge, this session will help you understand how to support riders in their dressage journey, from grassroots participation to national competition.

Learning Outcomes: By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Learn about graded and ungraded classes, test levels, and competition pathways.
  • Discover exercises, adaptations, and best practices to support riders in their dressage development.
  • Get familiar with how tests are judged, what makes a successful performance, and how to use feedback for improvement.
