Workshop on Supporting Clients with Autism followed by a networking workshop for Equine Professionals

Monday 9 March 2026 9am to 12 noon

Calling all equine professionals to gain more of an insight into Neurodiveristy followed by an Equine Professional Networking Workshop. 

9am: Arrival and tea/coffee

9.15am: Laura Burrows, Peripatetic Teacher of Autism for Angus Inclusion Service. Supporting Learners with Autism.

  • Provide an overview of differences 
  • Discuss neuro-affirming language
  • Talk about masking and the delayed effect
  • Provide strategies to support
  • A introduction to what defines an Autism diagnosis and how this may affect learners in your setting. A chance to discuss and brainstorm supports that will support your learners in a neuro-affirming manner.

10.45am: Break

11am: Equine Professionals Networking Workshop.

12.30pm: Questions 

1pm: Finish

Cost: £10 (tea/coffee and biscuits included).

Numbers will be limited.

This is face to face only and will not be recorded.

This will be 4 CPD points for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches.
