Pre Coach Training course of 4 session via Zoom starting Monday 29^th January at 7pm. Other dates will be 5/2, 12/2 and 26/2 (N.B. this is now two weeks later)

Course Content

1. Roles and Responsibilities of a RDA coach, How we Learn
2. Risk Assessment and Session Planning
3. Technical Instruction and Coaching the Basics
4. Common Scenarios, The Coaching Pathway, What Happens Next? Personal Development Plan

There will be discussion, quizzes, PowerPoint and a small amount of homework. Each session will be approximately an hour and a half.

Candidates need to provide 5 pieces of evidence of training

• A copy of their Green Card (usually held by the Group Organiser
• Two e-learning modules- Disability Awareness and Equine Knowledge (these can be accessed via www.myrda.org.uk by clicking on E-learning and certificates can been printed out at the end 
• Two volunteer practical modules Mounting and Dismounting and Preparing & Assisting a RDA Session (these can be delivered by a Group Coach or above and certificates can be obtained via Group Orders)
