Safeguarding for Equestrians Virtual (Scotland) Course – delivered by the RDA

Date: Sunday 1st December 2024

Time: Arrive for 9.30am (Course starts 10.00am)

Venue: The Old School House, Drumelzier, By Biggar, ML12 6JD

Notes:  Tea, Coffee and Water provided. Please bring snacks if needed

Please register for this training by Monday 11th November 2024. Bookings will close on this date.

All attendees must be 16 years of age or above. We do ask you to confirm your age so the trainer can be made aware and is able to better support young persons. All attendees should be aware that they might find the content disturbing. In light of this, we recommend that attendees aged 16 or 17 have a responsible adult with them.

  • Places are limited, so they will need to be reserved in advance. Please be sure to let us know if you are not going to be able to attend.
  • There is no charge applicable for RDA volunteers and coaches.
  • All safeguarding officers, coaches and activity leaders must have a current safeguarding certificate. Initially this must be a face-to-face or virtual training which meets RDA requirements.
  • It is strongly recommended for all volunteers to attend a tutor-led safeguarding course.
