Safeguarding for Equestrians Virtual Course – delivered by the RDA

Date: Saturday 18 May 2024

Time: 10am to 1pm

Note: This course is for those based in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. If you are in Scotland, please re-book onto a course specifically designed for Groups in Scotland.

All attendees must be 16 years of age or above. We do ask you to confirm your age so the trainer can be made aware and is able to better support young persons. All attendees should be aware that they might find the content disturbing. In light of this, we recommend that attendees aged 16 or 17 have a responsible adult with them.

  • Places are limited, so they will need to be reserved in advance. Please be sure to let us know if you are not going to be able to attend.
  • There is no charge applicable for RDA volunteers and coaches.
  • All safeguarding officers, coaches and activity leaders must have a current safeguarding certificate. Initially this must be a face-to-face or virtual training which meets RDA requirements.
  • It is strongly recommended for all volunteers to attend a tutor-led safeguarding course.
