The programme comprises free, high-quality training including webinars, clinics and panel discussions to support people to become and serve as effective trustees.

Event Details

“What are the best ways that trustees can support the fundraising of their charity, whether they’re fundraising themselves, or relying on staff to do it for them?

Hear from our panel of trustees and fundraisers about their experiences. You will gain valuable insights into instances where trustees have excelled in supporting fundraising efforts and where challenges have arisen.”

What Will This Session Cover?

01 How trustees have supported fundraising effectively

02 When trustees have been ineffective or unrealistic in their support of fundraising

03 How trustees can best support staff who fundraise

04 In organisations with no staff, how trustees can keep on top of both governance and fundraising roles

05 How trustees can serve as powerful advocates for the organisation and encourage donor confidence in the organisation

06 How trustees can leverage their personal and professional networks for the charity (given that most of us trustees are average Joes with no Bill Gates or Elon Musks in our phone books)
