In the last few months, we have welcomed some new staff to the team at RDA UK. These new colleagues are mainly covering for those on maternity leave and replacing some who have left us recently. There are also a couple of new roles, supporting projects we hear from RDA Groups are important for us to complete (e.g. the launch of the new MyRDA website).

Membership Services Team

Kathryn (Kate) Haughton – Membership Services Administrator

Kate joined us in July, to provide first line contact for queries from our network and to backfill Anna Heritage who is currently undertaking a project role.

Ben Potter – Safeguarding Officer

As Stef Brazier leaves us this week to commence her maternity cover, we welcome Ben who will provide cover for all safeguarding matters over the next 12 months.

Communications and Marketing

Ella Thomas – Website & Digital Project Manager

Having worked with RDA previously, Ella has joined us on a fixed term contract (to March 2026). In addition to assisting the Communications team with our brand project, Ella has been heavily involved in the redevelopment, testing and launch of MyRDA.

Participation

Holly Tennant – Activities Programme Manager

In this newly created role, Holly will be leading on the implementation of participation centred programmes in multiple environments including RDA Groups and Approved Centres.

Fundraising

Deborah Chandos-Hall – Head of Philanthropy

As Clare Prysbet, Head of Fundraising has now commenced her maternity leave, Deborah has joined as Head of Philanthropy and will be continuing to lead the team to generate and grow income from high-value donors, corporate organisations, and charitable trusts and foundations.

Finance

Charlotte Ng – Finance Assistant

Following Laura Cartwright’s promotion earlier this year, Charlotte will be joining us to take up the role of Finance Assistant, providing support to the team and wider network.
