Training Session for Coaches/coaches in training/helpers

 to be held at South Bucks RDA, Framewood Road, Fulmer, SL2 4QR on Sunday 15^th March 2020

Led by Waveney Luke, Nona Dane, Theresa Drake & Caro Haynes

09.30    Coffee

10.00    Horse movement and how it affects the rider – Waveney Luke, former Paralympic dressage selector & group coach, with Nona Dane, MCSP, County Physio & group coach.  This covers sections in both the Horse Knowledge & Coaching modules of the coaching pathway.

10.45     Stage 1 Show Jumping – a skill coaches should be happy developing –

             Theresa Drake, Regional Coach & Show Jumping Rep, group coach & Caro Haynes, BHS Stage 5  Performance Coach, group coach.  This covers sections in the Coaching Module.

11.30     The next step – progressing to Level 2 Show Jumping & beyond

12.00     Discussion period

12.30     Soup, sandwiches & finish.

All timings are approximate. We are very grateful to the South Bucks Group for re-arranging their rides to accommodate this.

All coaches should attend annual training.  This is free for South Region coaches, £5 on the day for other regions’ coaches.
