Each year RDA hold training courses for those wanting to become an RDA Dressage Judge.  The RDA training days are currently a requirement for those also wishing to become a British Dressage Para Judge.  To remain on the RDA list of judges you must attend a refresher course every 3 years.

We completed four Judges training days for 2022. 

All four days started in the classroom followed by a practical demonstration. The classroom content included:

• Language used when judging
• What to expect in terms of disabilities (ID, VI, physical etc)
• Difference between judging BD and RDA
• Classification presentation including compensating aids
