Why Should my group talk about In Memory Gifts? 
When someone donates in memory of a loved one, it’s a powerful way to support your group. These donations often come from funeral collections or online tributes. Charities in the UK receive £1.8bn-£2.4bn a year through this type of giving. 

What can my group do? 
You can encourage donations by: 

– Displaying a Remembrance Book or having a Memorial Wall. 

– Sharing tributes on your website or newsletter. 

– Sending thoughtful Christmas cards to families. 

– You can also hold gatherings or name something special in honour of a loved one, like a pony or a bench.
