The National Championships relies on approximately 200 volunteers to enable the event to run smoothly. Equine experience is not essential, we offer accommodation and meals for all volunteers as well as being kitted out with event polo shirts!
Roles vary and include:
- Stables
- Prize Giving
- Scoring Team
- Buggy & Bus Drivers
- Car & Lorry Parking
- Refreshments, looking after our team of volunteers
- Ground Crew
- Health & Safety
- Discipline Specific Roles
- Tack Checkers
Some of the roles require volunteers to be available prior to the event arriving on Thursday. Whether you are able to help for one day of for the duration of the event if you would like to find out more please contact fharris@rda.org.uk
